The BEST Early Christmas Present

My wonderful, supportive, generous husband bought me this beautiful new KitchenAid Mixer in Buttercup Yellow yesterday. I have been pining over and lusting after a KitchenAid Mixer for over a year now. I would desperately leave comment number 10,473 in Pioneer Woman's Mixer Giveaways. Obviously, I never won. Every time I came acrosss a recipe that called for mixing ingredients in a KitchenAid, my little heart would drop. Guess I can't make this one, I don't have a KitchenAid Mixer. Tear.
But not anymore Ladies and Gentlemen! With this baby, I have officially become a home chef. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am.
And how gorgeous is this Mixer? I am throughly enjoying just staring at it sitting on my kitchen counter, in all it's sparkly new glory.
Now my only problem is what to make first????
What is your favorite recipe in your KitchenAid? Please share!
Merry Early Christmas!

  3. That mixer is BEAUTIFUL! Love the color. I have my mom's hand-me-down KitchenAid and I would not want to cook without it! Someday I hope to have a new red one to match my kitchen. =)

  8. Hi Ashley!! I'm considering a K.A but I can't make up my mind between the Buttercup or the Empire Red. Is the Buttercup truly the colour you have in the picture, or is the picture brighter/duller? Weird question I know, but I haven't been able to see a Buttercup one in person & I daren't order one as I'd really like the colour to be a brighter, true yellow & not a softer yellow. Picky I know :(

  9. Hi KPC, I love my yellow Kitchen Aid Mixer. It's a beautiful bright yellow, but definitely a butter cup shade. I bought mine at the store where I could see all the different colors in person. I think the red one is beautiful too!

  11. Looks so good! Hmmm, I love ramen but this looks too involved for me. I’m too much of a health snob to eat packaged ramen though, although tempting – would rather save my fat for favorite treats. Thanks for helping me get hungry though! ???? Techlazy.com Crazyask.com Howmate.com

  13. Mine would say Life is Grand! We spend a lot of time at Grand Lake during the summer, and the Drink Inks would be a fun addition to all the get togethers.
