Growing up, these creamy pinwheels were one of my favorite things that my Mom made. I modified them a bit and took them to a staff meeting this week where everyone brought a dish to pass. They're a real crowd pleaser and great for this busy time of year because you can make them the the night before and just cut them up before serving.
CreamySalsa Pinwheels

1 cup of cheddar cheese
4 ounces of black olives
Directions
Mix together cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, cheddar cheese, and black olives.
Spread mixture onto each tortilla and roll up tightly.
Wrap each individual tortilla with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate at least one hour or until ready to serve. Cut into 3/4 inch pinwheels. Serve with additional salsa if desired.

I could eat about 15 of those..... = )
ReplyDeleteI have a recipe from my mom that is very similar. I never thought of putting black olives in though, that sounds like a great addition.
